Use case · Territory reps & B2B distributors
Build your sales territory in minutes: every independent practice or shop, with contacts
Territory sales reps, independent (1099) reps and small distributors selling supplies or services into one vertical: dental, beauty, foodservice, auto parts and similar.
The job
Map every relevant account across the cities in a territory, then work the list by phone, email and visits.
How it is usually done today
- Building territory spreadsheets by hand from Google Maps.
- Relying on an employer CRM that misses newer and independent accounts.
- Buying lists that lump specialists in with general practices.
Why that hurts
- Generic categories mix the accounts you want with ones you do not.
- Address-only lists leave you without a decision maker.
- Territories span many towns, which means many separate searches.
How LeadMerlin does it
- 1
Search your vertical across up to 5 cities
Orthodontist, nail salon, independent pizza restaurant, auto repair: one job covers several towns.
- 2
Tighten the niche
Strict filtering drops adjacent categories so implant centers do not mix with general dentists.
- 3
Plan the route
Every result has a street address, city and rank; sort and export to your CRM or mapping tool.
- 4
Call the right line
Phone line type and the owner name help you reach the practice owner rather than a call center.
One territory, several cities, strict niche

-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"keyword":"orthodontist","location_codes":[1026201,1026748,1026765],"strictness":"strict"}' Location codes in these examples are placeholders — always look yours up with GET /v2/locations first.
What comes back
Most useful for this job:
- Address, city, rating and review count for every account.
- Owner name, verified email and phone line type.
- web.tech: booking and ordering tools (e.g. NexHealth, Toast) as a rough size and sophistication signal.
Every field on an enriched lead
- Google Business Profile basics: name, category, address, rating, review count, claimed status, GBP URL, CID
- Owner name and a short business summary, extracted from the website by an LLM when the site states them
- Every email found, labelled verified / catch-all / invalid / unverified, with role-based and free-provider flags
- Phones from the listing and website; the main number (Google listing first) gets line type (mobile, landline, VoIP, toll-free) and carrier, up to your plan's monthly line-type allowance
- Tech stack: CMS, CDN, server, chat widget, online booking tool, online ordering / POS storefront, review widgets, analytics, frameworks, ad pixels
- Social profiles, services, service areas, year established when stated
- Raw text, title and meta description of up to 5 crawled pages per site
Limits and honest caveats
- No purchasing-manager names or buying volumes; the owner named on the site is the usual contact for independents.
- There is no chain-versus-independent flag yet; check names in the export.
- Only businesses with a website are enriched; website-less listings are counted but not returned.
